Career

As a senior associate and a member of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Sector Group, Renāte Purvinska’ key area of expertise are mergers and acquisitions.

Landmark transactions. Renāte has participated as counsel for both sellers and buyers in major cross-border M&A deals in Latvia, representing listed and non-listed companies alike. The business sectors where these transactions have taken place include real estate development, construction, the IT and banking sector, retail and energy.

Restructuring and insolvency. She has been involved in restructuring projects, assisting creditors to restructure loans as well as advising debtors in insolvency matters.

Serving on legal committee. Renāte Purvinska serves on one of the three legal committees of the Latvian Venture Capital Association, the financial instruments group.
