Viktorija Smirnova-Čerkasa heads the firm’s Energy & Utilities sector group in Latvia. Having practised law since 2006, she has gained significant experience in the field of real estate.

Practice and theory in the energy sector. Viktorija consults energy sector clients on their legal matters and are currently authoring a book on legal aspects of ensuring natural gas supply security in the European Union.

Real estate industry challenges. Much of her legal practice is devoted to real estate purchase, sale and mortgage transactions, leasing and management issues and matters related to the legal process in the construction field.

Broad perspective. Viktorija Smirnova-Čerkasa provides legal advice on immigration law and commercial law issues and have participated in various merger and acquisition transactions.
