Career

As a senior associate, practising law since 2002, her core areas of expertise are banking and finance, as well as restructuring and insolvency.

Banking and finance. Inese Heinacka possess significant experience of working on large loan projects representing both borrowers and lenders.

Finance sector regulation. She has often analysed the activities of banks, payment institutions and electronic money institutions to assure that they are in line with the Latvian regulatory regime.

Restructuring and insolvency. Inese advises clients on insolvency and LPP issues and represent creditors in insolvency and restructuring processes.

Legislative environment. She assisted the Association of Latvian Commercial Banks in preparing a law on credit bureaus by studying existing regulation, as well as drafting a law on credit bureaus, which was later adopted.
