Position
Barak Keynan is a partner at M. Firon & Co. and heads the planning and zoning practice at the firm.
Barak boasts more than a decade of experience in the forefront of Israel’s real estate market. He is particularly seasoned in handling complex transactions, and has over the years represented commercial companies, real estate investors and private owners, both as sellers and as purchasers, in real estate transactions valued at more than NIS 1 billion on aggregate. Barak is vastly experienced in handling all types of assets, from private and public lands of many acres to commercial assets situated in prime locations, his services typified by efficiency and value creation.
Furthermore, Barak specializes in all matters of planning and zoning in Israel. He renders ongoing legal services to private and commercial entities, as well as to institutions and private owners, with regard to all types land development proceedings, drawing on his many years of experience in appearing before all planning authorities, including local planning and zoning committees. Barak handles, inter alia, objections, appeals, administrative appeals and other intricate proceedings held by planning committees, and takes pride in advancing complex and large scale projects over the years, traversing planning-related and other obstacles.
During 2015 Barak was appointed co-Chairman of the planning and zoning committee of the Israel Bar Association (Tel Aviv District).
