In Guayaquil, Byron Sotomayor heads the practice; his experience centres on civil, labour, commercial and administrative litigation. Other notable figures include Christel Gaibor, an arbitration specialist with particular knowledge of administrative and tax matters (as well as litigation); and Bayardo Poveda, whose deep knowledge of corporate, competition and oil-and-gas matters ensures he is frequently involved in both litigation and arbitration.
