He also represents sellers and buyers in mergers and acquisitions of business entities and assets, in areas that include banking and financing, retail, utilities and hospitality services, and assists producers, developers and investment funds in the development of energy projects.
Polibio, who is admitted to practice law in the Dominican Republic and New York, has worked as attorney in the Dominican Republic, Houston, Texas and Washington DC; in preeminent global firms and in the Legal Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). Likewise, he regularly participates in discussion forums on securitizations, trusts, public offerings, restructurings and due diligence processes
He currently serves as Co-Chair of the International Finance & Securities Committee of the American Bar Association, where he has been a member since 2009, and is also Vice-President of Centrocámara de Comercio de la República Dominicana, the chamber of commerce of all the Central American countries and the Dominican Republic. Polibio is also an independent Board Member of several corporations.
