Career

Gabriel is partner of the areas of Corporate/M&A, Labour Law, Real Estate, Leisure & Tourism, Trust, Banking and Finance at ECIJA Dominican Republic.

Gabriel has a diverse transactional practice focused in Real Estate and Tourism Law, Financial and Banking Services, Labor Law, Trusts and Corporate Law. He represents North America, Latin American and European clients with significant interests in the Dominican Republic in a variety of sophisticated business transactions.

He represents money lenders and borrowers in corporate financing, assisting clients in commercial real estate, energy projects and assisting employers in complex labor matters, such as investigations and audits for internal compliance. Also, is regularly involved in commercial contracts, asset acquisitions and sale transactions.

Gabriel was professor on the subject of Corporate Practice in the Master in Corporate Business and International Litigation offered by Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.

He currently serves as Senior Advisor of the young lawyers interest network and Co-Chair of the cross border real estate committee of the American Bar Association, an entity of which he has been a member since 2009 and which recognized him in 2016 and 2017.

Gabriel also serves as Alumni Admissions Interviewer in the Admissions Office at Georgetown University Law Center.
