In particular, Maria specialises in M&A transactions, intra-group and distressed M&A restructuring, capital markets transactions, and joint ventures, as well as corporate governance and regulatory & compliance matters.


Prior to joining Ivanyan and Partners as a partner to head the newly established Corporate practice in 2013, Maria headed the international M&A group at a major Russian law firm and then was a senior associate in the Corporate and M&A Practice of a large Nordic law firm in Moscow.
