Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Dmitry worked in Raiffeisenbank, where he specialised in corporate and syndicated lending transactions, and debt restructuring.

Ivanyan and Partners assists a mix of Russian corporate borrowers and  is particularly knowledgeable of project finance, acquisition finance, pre-export and export financing, and debt refinancing. In particular, the group is widely considered a destination of choice for clients in the energy and natural resources sector. Both recently promoted, partner Daria Semenikhina and counsel Dmitry Kuzmin jointly lead the practice.

Ivanyan and Partners is increasingly building a reputation in the project finance space; in particular, its recent work stands out in relation to syndicated lending mandates. A team led by Daria Semenikhina assisted key clients VEB.RF and Gazprombank with the provision of a $220m syndicated loan to Shchekinoazot, which was only the second transaction completed under the country’s Project Finance Factory mechanism. Semenikhina jointly leads the practice with Dmitry Kuzmin.
