Dr. Amal Ahmed El-Fazairy obtained her LL.B. degree from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1964 and took Post-Graduate Diplomas in Public Law (1965) and in Private Law, (1966), and Postgraduate Diploma in European Legal Studies in 1968 at the University of Torino, Italy. She finished her Ph.D. in Civil and Commercial Procedure Law (1977) at the Alexandria University, and was a Professor of Civil and Commercial Procedure Law at Al-Zagazig University in Egypt from 1978-1994.
