The firm: VMP Vlasova Mikhel & Partners Law Office was founded in 1990 as the first private law practice in post-Soviet Belarus. The firm was established by two lawyers, Liliya Vlasova and Natalia Kozyrenko, under the name ‘Law Laboratory’. In 1996 it was renamed Vlasova & Partners.

Since 1990, it has developed into a full-service and top-tier law firm within the market, and played an integral part in the development of the private sector in Belarus. It has provided legal support to numerous large state-owned companies during their privatisation.

On 12 April 2007 Vlasova & Partners merged with Mikhel & Partners to become Vlasova Mikhel & Partners. This successful merger resulted in the firm achieving further international recognition and higher ratings year on year, awarded by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the business media.
