Partner, Rob specialises in dispute resolution work.  Main areas of which are commercial litigation, property litigation, cfontentiustrusts and probate, insolvency and construction. He heads the firm's team of dispute resolution lawyers. Rob is an accomplished solcitor with a wide range of experience in dispute resolution work. He recently psssed the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes with a commendation.

At Greene & Greene in Bury St Edmunds, two experienced litigation partners, Rob Adam and Michael Batty, lead the contentious trusts and probate practice. Much of the day-to-day work is done by rising star associate Ben Fox, who specialises in this area, and consultant and ACTAPS member Kate Chandler, who has 35 years' experience in matters such as breach of trust and Inheritance Act 1975 claims. Key areas of work are the removal of personal representatives and defence of personal representatives who are facing claims, and the firm has had successes in the Chancery Division of the High Court.

The construction and engineering practice at Greene & Greene is led by litigators Rob Adam and Michael Batty, who frequently handle contentious matters for main contractors and sub-contractors as part of their broad dispute resolution practices. In 2018, the firm hired solicitor Sarah Western from Birketts LLP who has a background in litigation but is now working as a specialist in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters for developers, main contractors and sub-contractors. Real estate partner Neil Grigg also plays a key role in the practice.
