Mr Falkman specialises in mergers and acquisitions, energy and public utilities law and compliance and investigations. He acts regularly for Swedish as well as international clients and has extensive experience from transaction work within for example the energy and public utilities sector. He is a member of the ICC Sweden Commission on Environment and Energy and is also Hammarskiöld & Co’s representative, and the sole Swedish member, in the Energy Law Group; a network of lawyers specialising in energy and natural resources law from independent law firms.

Under the leadership of transactional specialist Jakob Falkman , Hammarskiöld’s energy and public utilities practice handles a broad range of cross-border matters including transactions, litigation and regulatory mandates. The group is also active in investment mandates and recently advised Scania on its investments into Northvolt relating to lithium ion batteries and its collaboration with H2 Green Steel relating to the construction of a green steel production plant. Erik Fahlgren is also a key name for M&A transactions.
