Career

Nicola is a Partner and Co-Head of the Property Team at Lavelle Partners  specialising in non-contentious commercial property transactions. She is a dual qualified solicitor in both Ireland and England and Wales and has extensive experience in all commercial property, property development and property finance matters in both the English and Irish markets. Nicola has advised a wide variety of clients across several sectors including retail, residential, hotel, state agencies and financial services.

Nicola is also a qualified tax adviser (AITI) and she specialised in tax law to a level of significant expertise for many years prior to becoming a property specialist. This expertise is of enormous benefit to her practice in providing her with unparalleled insights in matters of property finance and tax structuring.

Nicola is an expert in commercial property transactions, property development, property finance and property tax. She was invited by the Conveyancing Committee of the Law Society to be a member of the Pre-Contract Investigation of Title Task Force which was responsible for drafting the 2019 General Conditions of Sale and Requisitions on Title.

She has also written articles in the area of property law for the Irish Times and has contributed to pieces in the Sunday Business Post.
