Hila Shimon is a partner at Gornitzky & Co.

Prior to joining the firm, Hila worked as an associate with a law firm specializing in criminal litigation, where she gained experience in a variety of cases, including public defense cases and arrest procedures.

Hila is mostly involved in the representation of clients in white collar crime litigation cases, including financial offences, tax offences and securities offences.

Before she was admitted to the Israeli Bar, Hila had worked for the Israeli Ministry of Defense for more than 5 years.

During her studies, Hila served as a member of the Criminal Law Clinic of the Bar-Ilan University Faculty of Law where she was awarded the “David Weiner Scholarship” for excellence.

Hila assisted Dr. Yoav Sapir in the research for his article,”Illusions of Progress: The Right to Counsel in Israel since the British Mandate until the 80’s”, which was published in 2009.
