Career
Before joining TURUNÇ, Ms. Alyanak worked at Garanti BBVA for 10 years, focusing primarily on project finance transactions. She has extensive experience in energy, infrastructure, M&A and commercial real estate transactions in multisource financings. During her tenure at Garanti BBVA Ms. Alyanak was responsible, among other things, for the procurement of legal services for the Bank’s project finance department in structuring and restructuring of such financings. She has also worked for the World Bank in Washington, D.C. for a year advising a project country government officials on the establishment of an investment fund center. Prior to that, Ms. Alyanak was with Birsel Law Offices in Istanbul, Turkey for almost two years covering all corporate legal matters for domestic and international clients.
