Turkey > Dispute resolution

TURUNÇ‘s contentious work includes commercial litigation, insurance disputes, competition litigation, IP litigation and labour disputes. It advises global clients in the automotive, construction, infrastructure, consumer products, energy, natural resources, insurance and retail sectors. Noyan Turunç and managing associate Gizem Günel, who is experienced in product liability and employment law. Yücel Ezberci, who was formerly a sole practitioner, recently joined as counsel in the Ankara office. Turunç, Günel and Ezberci are the joint heads of the practice.

TURUNÇ advises on various competition matters, including policy and agreement reviews, competition law reviews and merger clearances by the TCA. Its portfolio of work spans a multitude of industries, with the automotive and apparel sectors being notable areas of strength. Founding partner Noyan Turunç jointly leads the team alongside counsel Esin Çamlibel.

Turkey > Commercial, corporate and M&A

TURUNÇ‘s team handles various corporate and commercial matters, which includes drafting agreements, obtaining licenses, advising on legislative developments and assisting with the maintenance of corporate accounts. It also advises on private equity and venture capital transactions. The group acts for clients (ranging in size from small domestic companies to multinational corporates) in sectors such as automotive, ports, retail and technology. Noyan Turunç and Kerem Turunç (who is US, English and Turkish law-qualified) are the joint heads of the team.

Turkey > Banking, finance and capital markets

TURUNÇ provides banking transactional and regulatory advice to financial institutions and businesses. It is also active in capital markets work. In addition to acting for clients on a standalone basis, it often works with international law firms on matters with a cross-border dimension. Also notable is that the firm acts for clients in sectors such as automotive, consumer goods, energy, industrial goods, insurance and telecoms. Noyan Turunç heads up the team with Kerem Turunç (who is qualified to practise in New York, Washington DC, England & Wales and Turkey), Ilgin Eroglu Alyanak and Ümit Eginlioglu.
