Career

Alain Levy is a member of the Bar of Paris and is licensed as a foreign legal consultant with the New York Bar. He is active in corporate and finance law. Having advised for many years various French and international banks and financial institutions, Alain is often involved in bilateral and syndicated loans, acquisition finance, trade finance as well as in capital markets representing French issuers. He also advises companies in their development in particular in the context of mergers and acquisitions, LBO transactions, external growth, corporate restructurings, workouts and share incentive schemes. Over the years Alain has developed an expertise in the financial services, steel and retail industries. Alain started his career at the UK law firm Wilde Sapte in Paris and in London, prior to setting up his own firm with one of our partners, Olivier Tordjman. Due to the success of their Paris law firm, he opened and managed their office in New York, before becoming a partner at AYACHE (f/k/a AyacheSalama) on January 1st, 2004.
