Career
Prof Dr Hans-Georg Hahn studied law in Göttingen (Germany), following which he received his doctorate for a thesis on product liability law. After graduating from university, he worked as an assistant to the chairman of the board of directors of a German insurance group. Hans-Georg Hahn was admitted to the German Bar in 1991; in 1997, he was additionally admitted to practise as a tax advisor. He joined the Legal and Tax Department of Arthur Andersen in Hanover (Germany) in 1993 and has worked for Luther or its predecessor firm since the year 2000.
