Career

Ivan Tserovski joined the team of Georgiev, Todorov & Co. Law Offices in June 2020. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Law from the University of National and World Economy in 2003. Prior to that, he studied at a language high school majoring in Management and Marketing.

Ivan has extensive experience in leading Bulgarian and international companies, as well as in several state institutions, where he has provided legal services, drafted various types of documentation and has participated in evaluation commissions. He has also carried out ex-ante and ex-post controls in the field of public procurement under EU operational programs. He has provided legal advice on insurance contracts for Allianz Bulgaria and has drafted contracts for real estate transactions, including the purchase of land, retail sales of constructed sites, as well as notarial transfer of real estate to leading companies in the sector such as Home for You Ltd. and Forton International AD.

A key sector for him is energy as he develops his practice in the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) in carrying out procedural representation before court and in arbitration proceedings, drafting of legal opinions and documents, participation in expert working groups, preparation of draft penal decrees, etc. He held the positions of Chief Expert and Chief Legal Adviser and his specific knowledge in the field is highly valued by his clients and colleagues.

In his practice at Georgiev, Todorov & Co. Law Offices, Ivan focuses on energy and natural resources, real estate, administrative law and commercial law. Currently Ivan consults and represents clients like Heating power plants Bobov Dol, Maritsa 3, Ruse, etc.
