Career

Elad Sharabani is a partner in the firm’s Energy and Infrastructure Group.

Elad specializes in the regulatory framework applicable in the energy sector in Israel and specifically in regulation applicable to natural gas and oil exploration & production, independent power producer projects and renewable energy.

Elad regularly advises local and international companies with respect to energy-related regulation, transactions and tenders.

Elad has extensive experience in representing clients throughout all stages of conventional, cogeneration and renewable energy infrastructure projects (regarding licensing and drafting of EPC and O&M contracts), and in negotiating and drafting natural gas and other fuels purchase agreements, power purchase agreements (PPA), financing agreements etc.

In addition, Elad has extensive experience in advising clients in infrastructure tenders and transactions, including PPP (Public-Private Partnership) infrastructure projects (BOT/BOO/PFI). Prior to joining Meitar, Elad represented government-owned companies in their tenders regarding some of the biggest infrastructure projects in Israel.

In 2017 and 2018 Elad was recognized by The Legal 500 as a “Next Generation Lawyer” in the Energy and Infrastructure field.

In addition to his work at the firm, Elad is a member of the Energy and Infrastructure Committee of the Israel Bar Association.
