Career

Eyal Dotan is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Group and Banking Group. 
Eyal has extensive experience in representing corporations, boards of directors and shareholders and in handling complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions and sales of corporations, shareholder agreements, commercial transactions, D&O insurance and indemnification, compensation for senior executives, employee options, public offerings of securities and reporting obligations.

Eyal is considered a top tier expert in the fields of banking and capital markets, compliance and corporate governance, representing clients before regulatory and governmental authorities including the Bank of Israel, the Ministry of Finance and the Supervisor of Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings, the Securities Authority, the Antitrust Commissioner, the Ministry of Justice and Israeli parliamentary committees. Eyal also handles financing and creditor arrangements, banking regulation, as well as matters relating to prohibitions on money laundering and on terror financing.

In recent years, Eyal has represented clients in all matters related to key legislative reforms in his areas of practice, including the Basel Convention, the “Marani Law” dealing with management and control of banks without a controlling shareholder, the Bahar Committee reform in capital markets, corporate governance in banks, public companies and bond companies.

Eyal teaches a course in corporate governance at the University of Haifa.
