Career
Jonathan Irom is a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Group.
Jonathan leads the firm’s blockchain, cryptocurrency and digital coin practice. His practice encompasses companies involved in developing blockchain infrastructure, funds dedicated to investing in digital currencies and assets, and ventures offering crypto-tokens (ICOs). The firm’s practices in these areas are pioneering the development of the digital currency industry in Israel. Jonathan and his team have developed unique and innovative legal structures to assist clients in obtaining their goals, while navigating a developing legal environment.
Jonathan also represents private equity and venture capital funds, strategic investors and individual investors in a diverse range of equity and debt investment transactions. He provides ongoing legal advice to clients, particularly emerging growth companies, with respect to corporate matters, commercial and intellectual property transactions such as licensing, services, OEM, distribution, development, manufacturing and clinical trials, employee option plans and executive compensation.
Jonathan has extensive experience in the representation of target companies, acquirers and selling shareholders in cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions. His recent transactions have involved clients in the technology, software, internet, life sciences, medical devices, retail, telecommunications and media sectors.
