Pro bono

We are proud to be able to practice law and we are also aware of the role we play in shaping our society by contributing to positive social changes. We have been providing free legal aid to charity organisations working to improve the living conditions of people with disabilities in the Czech Republic and abroad. We consider this kind of pro bono aid to be a natural part of our work.
We are happy to be able to help individuals in need as well as the following organisations:

LIGHT FOR THE WORLD is a European confederation of national development NGOs committed to the restoration of eyesight and human rights advocacy for persons with disabilities in underprivileged regions of the world.

We have been proving free legal aid to the Austrian branch LICHT FÜR DIE WELT and also to the Czech office SVĚTLO PRO SVĚT since 2007. The Czech organisation was partner for our office event in summer 2017 and received a considerable amount of donations, including a check from us.

Nadace JUST CS aims to help people in difficult social or life situations that they cannot overcome on their own. It makes contributions to organizations providing assistance to people in need so that they can continue improving the living conditions of those in their care.

Our firm began providing pro bono legal advice to Nadace JUST CS in 2016.

ČSTPS (The Czech Association of Athletes with Physical Disabilities) was founded in 1990 and follows a long-term tradition of organised sports for people with disabilities dating back to the 1960s. We have been providing ČSTPS with free legal services since 2005. We represented ČSTPS in a much-publicised case concerning its unwarranted removal from the Czech Paralympic Committee, renewal of its membership in the Committee and in the related case of prohibited participation of all Czech Paralympic athletes at the Paralympic Games in London in 2012.
