Alecsia carried out her traineeship in IP Law Galli law firm, where she continued to work for around five years before bringing her skills to another Italian law firm specialized in intellectual property matters. In the meantime, she won a scholarship to attend the doctorate course in intellectual property and unfair competition organized by the University of Parma. She achieved her Ph.D. in 2016 with a dissertation on the Italian and European regulations concerning amendments and limitations which can be adopted before and after the grant of a patent for invention.

In 2017 Alecsia joined again IP law Galli law firm, where she deals with all the aspects of intellectual property law, with special focus on issues related to patents, trademarks, trade secrets and unfair competition.

She is a teaching assistant (“cultore della materia”) of the course of intellectual property at the University of Parma. She is an AIPPI member and takes part to the National Study Group on Trademarks.
