Career

Mariangela Bogni has been resident partner in the Brescia office of IP Law Galli since 2006. A former partner at the law firm of Professor Adriano Vanzetti e Associati, she has in-depth professional experience of all aspects of intellectual property and related areas – in particular, patent litigation – with extensive expertise in the pharmaceutical and mechanical industries. She can deal with both legal and technical aspects of these fields, including in the context of cross-border disputes.

Between 2009 and 2017 Dr Bogni, along with Cesare obtained landmark patent-related decisions on behalf of prominent multinational companies – in particular with regard to biotech and pharmaceutical patents, as well as in the chemical and electronics fields.

A regular speaker at conferences and seminars, Dr Bogni is the author of several publications on relevant IP topics and regularly contributes to Italian and international IP law reviews. She is also the author of commentaries on key articles of the Industrial Property Code, the European Patent Convention and EU Regulation 6/2002, collected in Commentary on the Italian Intellectual Property Rights Code, edited by Professor Galli and Professor Gambino and published by UTET-Wolters Kluwer.

In 2008 she obtained her PhD in IP law from the University of Parma.
