Career

His focus lies in the structuring, formation, operation and fundraising of Luxembourg alternative investment funds, which include special limited partnerships (SCSp), reserved alternative investment funds (RAIFs), and specialised investment funds (SIFs). He also handles matters relating to UCITS.

His clients comprise asset managers, family offices and other firms that manage private equity funds, real estate funds, venture capital funds, private debt funds, hedge funds and crypto funds.

Additionally, Olivier Sciales has a broad range of experience in various capital-raising strategies and investments. His expertise includes establishing club deals, co-investment schemes, joint ventures, and providing comprehensive advisory services for corporate and private equity transactions.

Prior to establishing Chevalier & Sciales in 2005, he worked in the corporate departments of Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen, and Allen & Overy. He has been recommended in the Who’s Who Legal Private Funds 2023 edition, the Leaders League editions for private equity fund structuring and private equity, as well as the Legal 500.
