Position

Thomas Lettau is a partner and co-head of the Corporate/M&A practice group at bpv Huegel. His clients include domestic and foreign strategic investors, private equity funds and financial institutions. He specialises in domestic and international M&A transactions and joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments as well as cross-border corporate reorganisations. He also provides high-level, strategic advice to the boards and senior management of companies.

Thomas is recognised for his work in corporate/M&A in law directories such as JUVE, Legal 500, IFLR and Handelsblatt (Best Lawyers-Ranking).

• Investors and management on the sale of a majority stake in EYYES GmbH, a pioneer in artificial intelligence driving assistance solutions, to German-based Vector Informatik GmbH.
• Leading Austrian electricity company on the acquisition of a 10.15 MW wind farm in Austria.
• Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 4 on the sale of Energie Steiermark stake to the Province of Styria for a purchase price of EUR 525 million.
• European Directories Group, a portfolio company of Triton Partners on the sale of dogado group to international private equity firm Cinven and leading global investor Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board.
• Major Austrian credit institution as acquiring company on two cross-border mergers with Irish credit institutions
