Position

Michela Bani is a Partner of LABLAW – an award winning Italian boutique exclusively specialized in Labour and Employment Law – and she is head of the firm’s international practice.
Her practice focuses on all aspects of Italian labour and employment law. In particular, she has a wealth of experience advising national and international businesses on the management of employment relationships, executive relationships, the employment side of acquisitions, transfers of business, business reorganizations, IPO’s, agency, dismissals, as well as with labour and employment related litigation. She has a particular knowledge of the commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, fashion and luxury sectors.

• Advising leading private companies, both in ordinary and extraordinary labour law consultancy and in litigation against employees, managers and general managers.
• Labour law consultancy on all issues relating to employment relationships, from the establishment of the employment relationship to its termination.
• Mergers and acquisitions of companies or business units.
• Industrial restructuring and company reorganisation processes.
• Labour law assistance in the context of M&A and IPO transactions.
• Labour litigation in connection with subordinate employment relationships (proceedings concerning dismissals, both collective and individual, disciplinary and/or for objective reasons, higher classification, differences in remuneration, transfer of place of work or company, etc.) and self-employment relationships (fixed-term contracts, self-employment contracts, procurement contracts).

Career

Michela joined LABLAW in 2012 as a Senior Associate and became a Partner of the firm in 2016.  Prior to this she worked for notable national and international firms such as Lovells and Labruna Mazziotti Segni.
