Adv. Roy Melzer heads the activity of Computing Technologies Department, which focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications for various computer based inventions including security (cyber), database management, advertisement systems, image processing based inventions such as:

image compression (decoders and protocols), medical imaging and real time image processing inventions, parallel processing, telecommunications and Internet related patent applications for International and Israeli companies and entrepreneurs.

Roy specializes in cases involving complex technical subject matter and legal issues, especially those relating to computer implemented inventions. Roy also gained extensive experience in prosecution matters concerning imaging, hardware, optics, and technical implementations of business processes.

He is also substantially experienced in the process of developing IP portfolio for startups and in providing due diligence reports and freedom to operate opinions.

Roy was commended for his expertise in patent matters in the IAM Patent 1000 Israel 2018 ranking.

Adv. Melzer  drafts and prosecutes priority patent applications for clients such as IBM, Samsung, CyberArk, Top Image Systems, Medical Sensible and many others.
