Co-founder of Teynier Pic, Pierre Pic is an expert in international commercial arbitration as well in commercial litigation.
He has more than 20 years of experience as counsel in international arbitration, before the main arbitration centres (ICC, ICSID, AAA, AFA, OHADA, CRCICA and CMAP) or before ad hoc arbitration tribunals.
Pierre Pic is also regularly appointed as arbitrator before these same institutions or in the context of ad hoc arbitration proceedings.
Additionally, Pierre Pic is also recognized as an expert in the field of commercial litigation, and more particularly in corporate-related litigation and insurance-related litigation.

Dispute resolution boutique Teynier Pic houses an experienced team of 13 lawyers, including recent addition Shaparak Saleh, who joined as a partner from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, where she was counsel. The team, which combines strong arbitration and litigation expertise, recently handled a high number of award enforcement cases before the French courts. It is representing Zakhem in proceedings over the annulment of a €50m ICC award obtained against Sonatrach, as well as Japan Tobacco International in proceedings with British American Tobacco to set aside a €22m ICC award. The firm is also handling commercial and investment arbitration cases, including matters dealing with telecoms and industrial projects in Africa. Orange and Cameroon are clients. Partners are also regularly appointed as arbitrators. Eric Teynier, Pierre Pic, Laurence Kiffer and Raphaël Kaminsky are recommended.
