Career
Corina is Head of our Real Estate and Energy practice with broad transactional expertise in energy, mining, regulatory and real estate matters with a special focus on renewable energy and mining. Over the last few years she has been involved in a series of large scale energy projects and represented some of the largest developers and mining operators in Romania in relation to obtaining (and maintaining) their licenses, permits and authorizations.
She is a leading expert on commercial leasing issues in Romania and has worked for some of the largest retail and commercial entities in Romania, including the Iulius Group (Romania’s largest shopping mall developer). In addition, she acts as counsel to Romania’s largest fashion retailer and handles such matters as new product licensing, consumer issues and operational regulations.
Corina has worked in various industries, including acting as counsel (on secondment) for one of the world’s largest tire manufacturers. In this role, she advised on a variety of legal issues, including distribution and supplier agreements, environmental matters, labour disputes and other general corporate issues.
As counsel to Romania’s largest mining operator, Corina has been involved in a series of real estate matters (including negotiating with the public authorities) and mining regulatory issues (water authorization, environmental permitting and waste disposal).
