The firm: Founded in 2006 in Minsk, Stepanovski, Papakul and partners is currently one of the largest and most prosperous law companies in Belarus. Dispute resolution: advised on a $3 m cross-border corporate dispute related to a division of the asset of the joint venture; a cross-border dispute on compensation of damages amounting to more than $2 m caused by production defects in railway cars; an out-of-court settlement of the cross-border dispute on repayment of the debt of a Belarusian company totalling more than €2m; protection of interests of a joint venture in a case of creditors for bankruptcy with a total debt of more than $1.2 m; protection of interests of a foreign company in the bankruptcy case of a Belarusian debtor, the debtor did not recognise a debt of more than € 900,000.
