Career
Layla Chertow is a partner in the firm’s Hi-Tech and Venture Capital Practice.
Layla has over 30 years of legal and business experience, including in formation and management of private equity funds and establishment of and legal advice to venture capital funds. Layla advises clients on all matters related to venture capital, investment funds and hi-tech financing, and has extensive experience in investment transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
Layla joined Gross & Co. in 2018 following the firm’s merger with Shenhav & Co.. In the past, she served as a vice-president, general counsel and corporate secretary in private and publicly traded companies in Israel and abroad including Tadiran Communications and was a partner in Shamrock Israel Growth Fund. Layla was a member on boards of directors of companies in Israel, the USA and Germany.
