Career

Dr. Gilad Wekselman is co-head of Herzog’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution department.

 

Dr. Wekselman has been practicing law for more than 25 years, and he is one of the leading litigators in Israel. Dr. Wekselman began his professional career as an intern in the firm, and he is one of the firm’s most senior lawyers.

 

Dr. Wekselman has extensive experience in handling a wide variety of civil and commercial disputes, including: civil disputes, commercial disputes, international and administrative procedures, disputes involving corporate and securities law, derivative claims, shareholders disputes, commercial claims for breach of contracts, class action suits, tender laws, intellectual property and copyright, trusts and estates, real estate, family law disputes, tax disputes, environmental law disputes and contractors disputes.

In recent years, Dr. Wekselman argued dozens of cases before the Israeli Supreme Court, on various fields of law. In addition, Dr. Wekselman specializes in representing proceedings in administrative courts and in the High Court of Justice.

 

Dr. Wekselman represents leading international companies as well as some of the largest Israeli entities. His clients include, among others: GE, Smiths Detection, Global Data, Mega Or Holdings Ltd., HP, Rani Zim Hasharon Properties and Entrepreneurship Ltd., Neopharm Ltd, Bank of Jerusalem.

 

Dr. Wekselman also heads a unique program in the firm, designed to enrich the professional of the firm’s attorneys through a series of lectures by the best experts and lecturers in the various fields of law.

 

Dr. Wekselman is also a member of the Civil Procedure Committee, headed by the Minister of Justice, and serves as a judge of the National Disciplinary Court of the Israel Bar Association. Moreover, Dr. Wekselman serves as a mediator and an arbitrator in complex disputes in the various fields of law.
