Lawyer Rankings
Israel > Infrastructure
(Next Generation Partners)Herzog Fox & Neeman is praised by some as ‘the most experienced law firm in the field of infrastructure’. Combining a deep bench of sector specialists with a pioneering track record in the development of the country’s core infrastructure, the group is a popular choice to represent public authorities, lenders, and bidding groups and concessionaires in large-scale projects. Project finance expert Mark Phillips is lauded as ‘a cut above everyone else in the market’; he co-heads the department together with Adam Eytan, whose recent work spans energy, water, defence and social infrastructure projects. The group also draws on energy and infrastructure partners Eran Wagner and Zara Gold, as well as environmental law head Ruth Dagan.
Israel > Energy
Routinely involved in domestic and cross-border energy transactions, Herzog Fox & Neeman is arguably best known for its project finance practice, where it represents both borrowers and lenders. That being said, the group’s expertise spans all segments of the industry, with recent experience in the development of conventional and renewable power projects, oil and gas exploration and regulatory matters. The team is led jointly by Adam Eytan, who specialises in infrastructure development and project finance, and Mark Phillips, who also has an emphasis on project finance. Additionally, Ruth Dagan and Eran Wagner are recommended for regulatory and transactional energy work, respectively.
