Career

Amir Raz is a partner in the firm’s Hi-Tech & Investment Funds Group.
In his career as a corporate lawyer, Amir has counseled technology companies on a broad range of transactional matters, from venture capital financings to domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions, through public offerings and technology commercial transactions.

Amir also has counseled various venture capital and private equity funds, as well as strategic investors in their investments in and acquisitions of Israeli and Israeli-related companies.

Amir has worked with a wide range of high-technology clients – from emerging companies developing disruptive technologies through publicly traded companies, across a broad range of industries, including telecom, digital media, SaaS, mobility and advanced transportation technology, fintech, cloud computing, quantum computing, cyber security, big data, semiconductors, networking and life sciences.

In addition, Amir has advised fund managers and limited partners in the formation of various investment funds, including venture capital, private equity and hedge funds.

Amir has a diverse practice, consisting of broad range of transactional matters, from venture capital financings to cross-border mergers and acquisitions, through public offerings and sophisticated commercial transactions.

Prior to joining Gross & Co. in 2018, Amir was partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity practices of Shenhav & Co. Previously, he practiced at Sidley Austin LLP in New York and at Meitar Liquornik Geva Leshem Tal in Tel Aviv.

The January 2023 merger of Goldfarb Seligman and Gross & Co notably brought together two market leading corporate and M&A practices. The newly merged entity, known as Goldfarb Gross Seligman & Co., is home to Ashok Chandrasekhar who recently paired up with ‘excellent negotiatorYoni Henner to advise Google on in its acquisition of Siemplify.
