Adv. Gazit is the Head of the Corporate and Technology Department and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Adv. Gazit specializes in international-commercial transactions with a dominant technology component, and advises hi-tech and technology companies on their continuous operations and on merger and acquisition transactions in which they are involved in. In addition, Adv. Gazit specializes in corporate financing, commercial agreements, technology agreements, and commercial and technology issues relating to intellectual property.

Adv. Gazit has been recognized as a leading partner in the Israeli private equity and hi-tech field since its early days, and frequently advises companies, both in the traditional industry field and in the hi-tech and life sciences field, from their establishment and through their operations as mature and active companies. In addition, Adv. Gazit advises venture capital funds, companies and investors on investment transactions and the realization of holdings. Adv. Gazit’s many years of experience provides her with a unique outlook, a deep understanding of the client’s business requirements, and an ability to settle both non-complex and complex transactions.

Adv. Gazit possess significant expertise relating to transactions involving intellectual property licensing, especially in the life sciences fields, and has represented companies in this field for many years, including pharmaceutical companies, medical instruments companies, technology incubators and research centers. Adv. Gazit possesses widespread working relations with the relevant regulatory entities in the field, and advises clients on various matters, including commercial agreements through the research and development process- joint-development agreements, production agreements, agreements for the purchase of technologies from the academic companies and commercializing institutions, agreements for conducting clinical experiments and agreements for the commercializing of intellectual property in the companies’ product market, and providing continuous legal consulting through the stages of distribution, licensing and production.

Adv. Gazit is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) (“officer” in official IBA nomenclature), and serves as Co-Chair of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Law Committee of the IBA.

Alongside her professional work, Adv. Gazit lectures before various professional and academic forums, including the International Bar Association, the Coller Ignite Entrepreneurship Club and the Tel Aviv University, where she teaches a course on legal and financial principles for entrepreneurship.
