Position
Mr. Sharir is co-head of FBC’s Hi-Tech, Technology & Venture Capital Department and a partner in the firm’s Corporate Department.
Mr. Sharir specializes in corporate, securities and commercial law. His primary practice areas include ongoing representation of start-ups and mature corporate clients, including in connection with commercial and strategic transactions, venture capital and other private equity transactions and M&A transactions.
Mr. Sharir represents investors in venture capital limited partnerships and advises international investors and venture capital funds with respect to their investments in Israel.
Mr. Sharir has been involved in the high-tech and venture capital industries since the initial stages of their emergence in Israel in the early 1990’s. The breadth of his legal and practical experience has made Galai a respected advisor by corporate clients and investors alike.
Mr. Sharir obtained his LL.B. from Tel Aviv University, where he served as an editorial staff member of the Iyunei Mishpat Law Review.
Mr. Sharir was a co-founder at Sharir, Shiv & Co. until the firm joined FBC.
