Career

Ortal is a partner in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group, where she concentrates her practice on a variety of civil and complex commercial disputes.

Ortal has vast experience in litigating disputes arising in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) agreements, and has also represented numerous defendants in class actions, none of which were certified as class actions. Ortal also has significant experience in administrative litigation, specifically with regard to the Freedom of Information Law, 5758-1998.

Prior to embarking on her legal career, Ortal was a producer at the news desk of the daily newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” (2001-2006) and an account manager at the public relations firm, Shalmor-Scherf Communications (2006-2007).

Ortal articled at the firm in 2007-2008 and has been with the firm ever since.
