Anthony Gold is 'well organised and easy to deal with' and is home to lawyers who demonstrate 'a clear understanding of a broad range of claims', which are often of substantial value. The team has expanded, with Katherine Lennon joining as a senior associate from Brethertons LLP in September 2017. Lennon specialises in brain injury cases and has a wealth of experience in claimant litigation. Of late, the firm has handled cases involving multi-million-pound settlements, including one with a value of £3.5m for a client who sustained catastrophic injuries in a road traffic accident, which was resolved without resorting to litigation. The case was handled by Jackie Spinks. In other work, David Marshall was successful following a 14-day High Court trial for a client who had suffered psychological injury following allegations of sexual assault while he was a prison officer. Other key individuals are the 'excellent, calm, patient and cordial' Ian Peters and injury and medical claims team head Jon Nicholson. Jenny Kennedy has substantial expertise in cases involving complex brain and spinal injuries and amputations. She is also noted for acting for foreign as well as UK nationals.
