Partner and Head of Life Sciences Practice. Specialises in administrative law focusing on pharmaceutical law, medical law, advertising law, EU law and competition law. Provides support in matters related to allegations of corruption. He is involved in advising for industries defined as sensitive, including pharmaceutical and FMCG sector (including alcohol and tobacco products) on available advertising and promotional actions, reimbursement, compliance and criminal matters, distribution, labelling, production and quality control. Advises on the creation of medicinal product distribution and trade systems. Has participated in numerous legislative processes, e.g. in work on healthcare-related laws, and in many discussions setting out industry positions, drawing up opinions and reports on the functioning of these laws, running training sessions on reimbursement and nationwide conferences. One of the initiators of the Telemedicine Working Group, a group of leading entities in the telemedicine sector, which is currently playing an active part in the development of telemedicine in Poland as the Telemedicine Working Group Foundation. Advises on issues relating to healthcare systems, including the financing of healthcare services, formation and restructuring of healthcare entities, telemedicine and healthcare insurance. Participates in projects involving outsourcing and access to medical data in cooperation with the Healthcare Information Systems Centre and the Ministry of Health.
