Career

Michael is the Head of the firm’s Port-Harcourt practice. He has vast litigation and arbitration experience in oil and gas, construction real estate, shareholders dispute, banking and finance, financial crime investigation and prosecution, asset tracing, and recoveries.
He has advised numerous local and international companies and assisted them in successfully navigating the Nigerian dynamic business environment. He has also advised the Board and management of several public and private companies on corporate governance and compliance matters.
Michael served as SA to the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), where he coordinated the legal, regulatory, and compliance portfolio of the Commission.He also served as a member of the Ministerial Committee on the review of Pioneer Status Administration in Nigeria.
