Position

Fedelma is a Director and leads PwC’s Data Protection Strategy, Law and Compliance Services practice. She is responsible for the firm’s MyDPO proposition and leads our provision of ePrivacy advice, particularly in relation to cookies and digital marketing.

Fedelma has expertise and experience in a unique combination of technology, marketing, regulation and information/data management issues, gathered over more years than she cares to remember! She has chaired and contributed to a number of industry working groups including those relating to open data, cookies and most recently ad-tech and Real Time Bidding.

She represents PwC at the ICO’s (the UK Privacy regulator) ad tech industry forums and in the run up to the GDPR go live date of May 2018 advised the ICO on their consumer education program Your Data Matters.

She is a Licentiate of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, an Industry Commissioner on the board of the Data and Marketing Commission, an honorary fellow of the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) and is enrolled on the UK DMA’s (Data and Marketing Association) Roll of Honour. She has also achieved the unusual accolade for a non-lawyer of being recommended in The Legal 500 United Kingdom editorial.
