Partner since 1992. Christian is an internationally recognised specialist in corporate/M&A, private equity/venture capital and insolvency/restructuring with some deep background in tax from his early years in practice. He played a key role in the expansion of Wolf Theiss into the CEE/SEE region starting from 1995. Christian has extensive experience with major transactions in the renewable energy, steel, railway, automotive, tobacco, financial, real estate, telecommunications and IT industries. He also advises start-ups and VC funds, in particular in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical products.

Education

Christian studied law in Vienna (Dr. iur.) and San Diego (LL.M. with honours) and he also holds a degree in economics from the University of Economics and Business Administration, Vienna (Mag. rer. soc. oec.). Christian is admitted as Attorney at Law in Austria and in New York.
