She holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry & Biochemistry from the Rand Afrikaans University, and an LLB which she was awarded cum laude from the University of Johannesburg. She has also completed, with distinction, both the Advanced Short Course in Business Rescue Practice through the University of South Africa in association with Legal Education and Development, and the Diploma in Insolvency Law & Practice through the University of Pretoria. With regard to the latter, she received an award for being the student with the highest results.
