E+H Eisenberger + Herzog puts significant emphasis on real estate M&A, advising on joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals, including distressed transactions, alongside associated matters such as financing. Other regular work includes lease agreements and real estate issues pertaining to energy projects. The transactional focus is reflected in the practice lead shared by Alric Ofenheimer and Michael Strenitz, with the latter focusing on transactions in the logistics and commercial property sectors, and was further strengthened by the partner promotion of Christopher Engel in July 2020. Clients include funds, investment management companies and developers.
Thanks to its interdisciplinary approach and strong cooperation between the banking and finance and corporate teams in particular, E+H Eisenberger + Herzog has a strong profile for corporate and financial restructuring, which includes regular assistance with the acquisition and purchase of distressed loans alongside the restructuring of debt, bonds and loans. Marcus Benes is the key contact for finance-related work, while Michael Strenitz routinely handles work at the intersection with corporate and M&A. Clients include lenders and debtors.
