E+H Eisenberger + Herzog predominately acts for borrowers, although co-team head Marcus Benes is also experienced advising banks and investors on acquisition and real estate finance transactions as well as regulatory and restructuring-related matters. Benes, who also heads the firm’s insolvency and restructuring group, is noted for his restructuring expertise and is also a key contact for international finance and structured products. This segment received a further boost with the partner promotion of Laurenz Liedermann in July 2020. In addition to restructurings, Liedermann also has a significant focus on acquisition and real estate finance alongside corporate loans and portfolio transactions. Co-team head Peter Winkler complements the team’s banking and finance offering with solid expertise in capital markets and M&A.
