Vicente Estebaranz is an expert in real estate, administrative and planning law in the public and private sector.


Vicente joined Pérez-Llorca in 2002 and made partner in 2009. He is head of the Planning and Environment practice. Before joining, was Director of Planning projects for the Public Real Estate Company in the Zona Franca, Cádiz. Lectures for  Masters and programmes on real estate and planning at several private universities.

The extensive real estate practice at Pérez-Llorca covers the full property production cycle, including development, construction, acquisitions, disposals, letting, restructuring, repossession, NPL acquisitions and special situations. The firm advises institutional investors and lenders in relation to a range of assets, notably offices, shopping centres, high street, logistics, hospitality, residential, social housing and alternative investments. Jesús Varela joined in 2020 and brings expertise in advising international investors on real estate deals. He co-leads the team with Luis Zurera, who has a broad practice in the area; real estate and corporate law expert Gerard Serra; and Vicente Estebaranz, who is known for land planning work. Other key names in the team include expert in real estate, banking and finance Fausto Romero-Miura; Javier Muñoz Méndez, who specialises in transactions related to real estate assets; and Alejandro Osma, who focuses on commercial real estate.

Pérez-Llorca has continued to grow its environment and climate change practice, with a number of new clients in the finance, energy, logistics and tourism industries seeking the assistance of practice heads Alberto Ibort and Vicente Estebaranz. Ibort regularly advises on waste management, water discharge, contaminated soils, environmental permits and emissions, with a recent highlight in advising Ingka Centres on the development of a strategic renewable energy project to be implemented in its sites in Spain. Estebaranz adds planning expertise to the team and has over 18 years’ experience in public law. The firm also benefits from a group of experienced senior associates, including José del Saz-Orozco.
