Lawyer Rankings

Netherlands > Industry focus: Media and entertainment

A particular focus on the area of collective management of rights means that the ‘highly qualified‘ team at Höcker Advocaten counts notable music, audio-visual and literary rights collecting societies among its longstanding clients. A recent example of such work includes defending Dutch music collecting society Buma/Stemra in litigation claiming that the client acts unlawfully by not preventing bars from using Spotify or other online consumer streaming services as sources for their music. Willem Roos, co-practice head with Jacqueline Seignette, is recommended as ‘a very good lawyer, imaginative, creative, very intelligent‘. Marijn Kingma, who made partner in January 2019, ‘gives very clear, straightforward advice and is always on top of every problem‘.

Netherlands > Intellectual property: trade marks, copyrights and design rights

Netherlands > Industry focus: Information technology
